The School Education Department Tamil Nadu has established student - facing language labs for Class 6 to 8. The Hi - Tech Labs situated in the Government High and Higher Secondary Schools have been supplemented with headsets to enable the same.
The language lab is a self - paced learning platform for students to explore digital interactive content in their computers.
The objective of the lab is to supplement school English periods with exposure to interactive digital Listening , Speaking , Reading , and Writing activities.
The TN language lab portal Mozhigal , was wide on 15th March 2023.

ஒருங்கிணைந்த பள்ளிக் கல்வியின் மாநிலத் திட்ட இயக்குநரின் செயல்முறைகளின்படி உயர் தொழில்நுட்ப ஆய்வகம் ( Hi - Tech Lab ) அமைந்துள்ள அனைத்து அரசு உயர்நிலை மற்றும் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளிகளில் 6 முதல் 8 ஆம் வகுப்பு வரை பயிலக் கூடிய அனைத்து மாணவர்களும் 12.02.2024 முதல் 20.02.2024 வரை 7 வேலை நாட்களுக்கு மொழிகள் ஆய்வகத்தில் Baseline Assessment செயல்பாட்டினை நிறைவு செய்ய கீழ்க்காணும் வழிகாட்டு நெறிமுறைகளை அனைவரும் தவறாது பின்பற்ற ஏதுவாக இந்த வழிகாட்டு நெறிமுறைகளை உடனடியாக அனைத்து அரசு உயர்நிலை மற்றும் மேல்நிலைப் பள்ளிகளுக்கு வழங்குமாறு அனைத்து முதன்மைக் கல்வி அலுவலர்கள் கேட்டுக் கொள்ளப்படுகிறார்கள் . மாணவர்கள் https://mozhigal.tnschools.gov.in/login என்ற முகவரியினை பயன்படுத்தி உள்ளீடு செய்தல் வேண்டும் .
